360º Sound

The piano begins the performance and the audience is engulfed in the sound of a piano and a shadow piano sound that travels around them. This “timekeeper” fades in and out, set against a slow increase in tempo and activity as the “ruptures” become closer together.

for Google Cardboard and Binaural Sound

In early 2020, I wrote my first ambisonic piece for VR using audio and video captured by a Vuze 360 camera. In this case, I placed sound within the captured soundscape in fixed locations and the notation I used corresponded with the coordinates in the visual. Read about the process here.
